The Refund Policy is based on the way spoken languages are acquired. It is important to read and understand this policy.

Other language programs simply expose a learner to part of a language, usually at the level of the eyes, through the written-word script. Only Pimsleur teaches language as speech! Therefore our Guarantee is a "Spoken Performance Guarantee." This performance level is measured on the Spoken Proficiency Scale, and is achieved only if the learner follows the Pimsleur teaching/learning method researched, tested, developed and recommended by this Program.

Nine out of every ten learners who follow the Pimsleur learning Methodology will test out at one of the intermediate spoken proficiency levels upon the completion of either the 30, 60, or 90 lessons (completed in ascending order beginning with Level I) in the Pimsleur proficiency sequence of Levels I, II, and III.

The one learner in ten who may miss the full spoken-proficiency level guaranteed to learners who do the course as specified (read "How To Get The Most Out of The Program") will be entitled to a refund of the amount paid for the Pimsleur Program, as evidenced by a receipt from PIMSLEURDIRECT.COM, AUDIOFY.COM or BOOKCHIPS.COM, dated within an elapsed period of one calendar year.
